i checked the car fax and his story checks out, it says no collision

This guy is asking for 2,000 below the Fair condition trade in value which is $3,995

Anyway, I want to go get this car but I dont know if its a good deal or not? How much should I offer him please help urgent i need a car today.|||The good news is that if the car turns out to be junk? you have only committed 4,000 for the vehicle. I would have the car checked by a mechanic to make sure the frame has not been welded in the middle or that the powertrain is not from another car? If the interior was replaced due to a theft this is not going to effect your safety unless the airbags were stolen and are now missing? This is more common than you think.

If the car checks out, offer him $3500. it is transportation.|||$3800 may be a fair price? again, confirm his claim that the only damage was interior. If he is discounting 2,000 due to the salvage title you may be in good shape?

|||I would offer $3,500 as long as its in good mechanical condition.
