This is the car a 2008 infiniti g37 sport.

The book value on kbb is 25900.

how can i negotiate for this car? I want to get it to the lowest price possible. How much should i buy this car for?How to negotiate for a used car?
Go back to kbb. They have 3 values, wholesale, private party, retail. You could reasonably start around the private party price. How to negotiate for a used car?
Get pre approved for a loan...so they have to beat the rate you have

then when they offer you a price....do NOT make a counter offer.

Let them make all the offers...you just think about itHow to negotiate for a used car?
If you can find ads for similar vehicles at lower prices, that would be convincing. And you could show them the KBB value. and you could write out a check for $25000 (or whatever) and lay it on the table and say that is all you are willing to spend. (its hard to turn down money so cash is even better than a check)
Negotiating is simple.

You know what the seller is asking for the car, $28,000

You know what the KBB book value, $25,900

You know how much you can afford and how much your payments will be . At least you should or you shouldn't be shopping.

So make the seller a reasonable offer based on these three things that you know. It's not that difficult if you have the facts.
